Guides

Step-by-step pages for the things you do with DocMyRepos.

  • Getting started: run it with Docker, or develop on the host.
  • Writing OKF documents with an agent: the guidelines file, the draft DocMyRepos generates, writing and validating a document through MCP.
  • Install with the script: one command that checks Docker, asks a few questions, writes the files and starts it.
  • Comments: discussing a document on its page, who can do what, limits and moderation.
  • Ask the docs: the AI assistant: setting up the provider and model, what is sent, limits and privacy.
  • Configuration: the settings admins manage in the app, the environment variables that remain, secrets, limits and the scheduler.
  • Webhooks: which GitHub events are handled and how deliveries are processed.
  • Search: query syntax, ranking, filters and the command palette.
  • OKF support: how Open Knowledge Format repositories are detected and shown.

Registering the GitHub App has its own page: GitHub App setup.
